Tradelab, European leading Data-Driven RTB Platform, Wins the Venus Award for Innovation in Digital Marketing (AcT)


On Wednesday, April 9, 2014, Tradelab, the leading RTB (Real-Time Bidding) independent media buyer in France, won the Venus Award, in the E-Advertising category, at the eMarketing trade show in Paris. The award recognizes Tradelab's innovative Brand Booster service using Trading Desk technology.

The Venus Award innovative showcases products, services and campaigns, in prospecting, loyalty and BtoB or BtoC customer relationships.

The award recognizes Tradelab's innovative Brand Booster service, which combines two major objectives: Branding & Performance.

"The innovation is based on the intelligent phasing of advertising campaigns, according to the progress of user presented in the conversion funnel. The service is the result of a series of proprietary technology overlays intertwining to boost advertiser performance, while increasing brand awareness and controlling advertising pressure," says Yohann Dupasquier, co-founder of Tradelab, who received the award.

For the Venus Trophy, Tradelab proposed a concrete example highlighting the smart service; the advertising campaign for Rabbids, the new attraction of the Futuroscope Theme Park. The results speak for themselves: 60 % of Internet advertising recall rate; 45.6 % effective visibility (vs. 24% in RTB, market figures) and 33 % of UU (Unique Users) cross-formats vs UU instream alone (video ad format).

Brand Booster won for its innovation, implication on respect for the user and inventiveness.

In just 3 years, Tradelab, a young innovative company, has established itself as leading player in the RTB market in Europe, with more than 1,500 campaigns for more than 200 advertisers. The Trading Desk was recently selected to monitor the UBI i/o San Francisco acceleration program, designed to coach 8 French start-ups which are setting up in Silicon Valley. The coaching will allow Tradelab to accelerate its international expansion, which the company wants to launch as of May 2014.
