a.s. today announced that they have awarded CYBERVIEW TECHNOLOGY
(CYBERVIEW) a 10 year contract to supply a Central Lottery System in
the Czech Republic, comprising of Interactive Video-Lottery Terminals
(IVT) and Storeowner's Terminals.
CYBERVIEW, who participated in a competitive bid process which
included a thorough investigation and trial period, were selected
ahead of established international lottery suppliers.
The new Central Lottery System, which comprises a new Central
Server Based gaming platform with Interactive Video-lottery Terminals
(IVT) and Storeowner's Terminals, is regulated by and has been fully
licensed by the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic. This system
is the first of its type worldwide to be licensed and has been
achieved using CYBERVIEW's proven server based downloadable gaming
system adapted for the specific requirements of the Czech market in
cooperation with SAZKA.
CYBERVIEW'S system is a true server centric solution, with random
number generation, transaction processing and authentication occurring
in the patented central server. Real-time, monitoring and control will
allow SAZKA to proactively manage their operations.
Over the coming years up to 10,000 terminals will be installed in
thousands of locations ranging from traditional gaming arcades to
retail outlets of varying size throughout the Czech Republic. Players
will be offered a range of entertaining games and the largest
jackpots.
