TRANSFER OF MICHEL BASTOS (AcT)

OL Groupe has transferred Michel Bastos to Al Ain (United Arab Emirates) for €4 million.
In January 2013, Olympique Lyonnais loaned Michel Bastos to Schalke 04 for 18 months with a transfer option remunerated at €1 million for the 2012/13 season and dependent on Schalke 04's sporting results. Schalke 04 also had a right of first refusal in the event another club proposed to acquire Bastos.
As Schalke 04 did not exercise this clause, Olympique Lyonnais finalised the definitive transfer of Michel Bastos to Emirates club Al Ain.
Michel Bastos is Olymique Lyonnais' fourth player to be transferred since the summer trading window opened, after Dejan Lovren (Southampton), Anthony Martial (Monaco) and Fabian Monzon (Catania).
