TO THE SPEND ANALYSIS MODULE
Orsay, October 6, 2014 - Ivalua presents the latest product innovations for its Ivalua Buyer Spend Management platform, including a number of new features in the Spend Analysis module. These innovations reinforce Ivalua's leading position in the Spend analytics technology, as well as on the broader aspect of full lifecycle Spend Management, by offering a powerful, ergonomic and integrated tool that gives a 360° vision of purchasing.
Spend analysis: a tedious process
With respect to spend analysis, large international companies all face the same challenges. On the one hand, they must collect, summarise and analyse purchasing data from heterogeneous information sources (in certain cases, this can represent multiple disparate systems). On the other, a huge amount of data must be cleansed, normalised and standardised (invoices, orders, supplier accounts, etc.).
Ivalua Buyer V8 Spend Analysis: an easier job for procurement teams and more reliable data
The new features found in the Ivalua Buyer V8 Spend Analysis provide an answer to important issues:
A new spend classification tool provides real-time display of the percentage of spend remaining to be classified, prioritises according to chosen criteria, such as amount, supplier and commodity. Helping users by automatically proposing classification rules corresponding to the line detail of invoices. Once validated these rules classify the invoice history lines retrospectively and are then used to automatically classify future invoice lines.
A new supplier duplication removal tool provides fast, simple identification of duplicates using configurable search filters (for example, a search algorithm based on same address, email address, DUNS code, VAT number, etc.). In addition to the duplication removal, the tool enables supplier file data and changing hierarchies to be merged. Associated with our continued focus on ease of use has brought in some improvements to search results.
A new analysis console lets users create advanced multi-analysis dashboards, online, on demand, and in just a few clicks. Once created, users benefit from advanced filters (such as inclusion/exclusion, user perimeter, date to date, top, etc.) along the possibility of adding calculation formulas on the fly. Results can be presented as a pivot table and/or as graphics (curves, pie charts, vertical or horizontal histograms, radars, drill down and zoom, etc.) and shared with other users as required.
