Euronews launches a new programme:

'Business Line'

On Wednesday 14 January at 22:15 CET, Euronews presents 'Business Line', a new business magazine that combines top stories of the week, analysis and a dedicated segment focusing on the major digital world evolutions.

The new programme reflects the growing inter-connections of the fast-paced global economy, in which a single word or an apparently limited decision can have far reaching consequences all over the world.

Euronews' objective focuses on stories and events whose consequences matter to everyone.

Apart from the world's top stories, Business Line will premiere This is I.T., a dedicated segment featuring the most outstanding businesses of our time. Discussing our connected world, this new segment will spotlight on the ever-growing hi-tech industry, Internet technology and the phenomenal developments around it.

Business Line is produced and presented by Euronews' Business editor Oleksandra Vakulina, with the participation of Euronews' Business Desk. The technology segment inside Business Line is produced and presented by Euronews' Business editor Giacomo Segantini.

About Oleksandra Vakulina

Oleksandra Vakulina produces and presents Euronews' new programme "Business Line".

She has been producer and presenter of "Business Weekly", Euronews' weekly round-up of the world's top business stories, since 2012. 

Oleksandra joined Euronews in 2011, working on the business desk as part of the channel's new Ukrainian service.

Prior to that, Oleksandra was an international news editor and presenter for the "First Business Channel" in her native Ukraine.

About Giacomo Segantini

Giacomo Segantini is a journalist specializing in new technology and the digital economy.

Giacomo joined Euronews in 2012 as a business reporter for the Italian team, after working for several media in his home country.

Before becoming a journalist in 2010, he worked in an important American multinational software company.
