The new service will be available to business and residential customers initially across Sweden, but with the possibility of expansion into other countries. The company is estimating in excess of half a million subscribers to begin with. The implementation of AXiOSS for these advanced services will also allow TeliaSonera to bundle and offer new services more rapidly, including Broadband, data and video.
Axiom System's carrier class, AXiOSS(R) is already being used in collaboration with Wipro Technologies to manage projects for Cross Domain Management, including Inventory Reconciliation and CDM activation within TeliaSonera.
The two companies will provide the Operator with a powerful combination of proven systems integration experience and market-leading software applications which offer the following benefits:
