SAN JOSE, Calif. & PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 8, 2004--Business
Objects (Nasdaq:BOBJ) today announced that the United States District
Court, Eastern District of Virginia, has granted Business Objects'
motion for summary judgment of non-infringement on the case related to
Microstrategy's patent #6,260,050. The case will be dismissed once the
court issues a formal opinion and order, but the court's announcement
removed the case from the trial calendar.

frivolous and had no merit."
