FUTUREN commissions a wind farm and obtains authorizations to build another wind farm in France (AcT)

FUTUREN announces the commissioning of a new wind farm located on the territory of the Courant and Nachamps municipalities, in the Charente-Maritime department, in France. The Courant-Nachamps wind farm comprises 7 wind turbines delivering a unit capacity of 3 MW, for a cumulative capacity of 21 MW.

Construction works started in March 2017 and the wind farm has been commissioned in May 2018. The Courant-Nachamps wind farm now generates green electricity, that will cover the yearly electricity needs of almost 24,000 households.

This commissioning brings to 408 MW the gross installed capacity operated by FUTUREN for its own account.

Furthermore, FUTUREN obtained a new building permit, free of any third-party claim, to install 7 wind turbines in the Hérault French department. The future wind farm, with an estimated capacity of 6.3 MW, will generate green electricity, that will cover the yearly electricity needs of almost 6,000 households.

This new authorization secures additional growth for the Group and brings to approximately 75 MW the capacity owned by FUTUREN which already received all necessary authorizations and are free of any third-party claim, including in addition:

• the Faydunes and Demange wind projects, which are currently under construction respectively in the Aveyron and Meuse departments; as well as
• the second tranche of Les Monts wind project, comprising 11 wind turbines in the Aube department
