Strong growth in profits
- The Group revenue has increased by 40.4% year on year, benefiting from the results of both organic growth at + 11.3% and external growth at + 29.1%
The revenue for 2006 is split between 78% in France and 22% in Europe (Excluding France). - The operating income shows a marked increase of 3.9 M€ for the financial year 2006. It includes 2 newly acquired companies, progressively brought up to the Group’s operational and profitability standards.
After a loss making financial year in 2005, the successful turnaround of business translates into an operating margin at group level that exceeds 4.5% of the revenue for the financial year. - The net profit (share of the group) is 2.3 M€ against a loss of (0.632) M€ one year earlier, or an increase of 2.9 M€.
It includes a negative financial result of (0.333) M€, coming mainly from financial charges linked to the 2 acquisitions made in December 2005.
The strong increase in all the 2006 results reflects the relevance of the measures chosen by the Group Board in 2005 and its management model. The business thus enters a third consecutive profitable half-year.
These results allow the Group to consolidate its financial position, the capital of CCA International reaching 16.3 M€ on 31 December 2006.
2006 business marked by dynamic activity in France and all subsidiaries
The revenue achieved in France has increased by 49.8% (12.2% over a comparable perimeter), to reach 54.2 M€ against 36.2 M€ in 2005. This increase originates from:
- External growth of 37.6%, following the acquisition of Victoria Line and CCA Mauritius,
- The organic growth of 17.5% recorded by the historic Group subsidiary, CCA Qualiphone. This performance results from the winning of significant new accounts, the development of the major accounts in our portfolio, and the signature in 2006 of a contract with 118 218.
Translating the good performance of all these subsidiaries, the operating income for France, which was still negative in 2005, reached 3.1 M€, an improvement of 4.5 M€ year on year.
In Europe, the revenues outside France increased by 14.8 % (9.1% in a comparable perimeter), notably supported by the increase in business in Great Britain and Spain. These two subsidiaries, CCA Direct Dialog and CCA Fonoservice produced a positive operating income throughout the financial year.
The operating income for Europe (Excluding France), also positive, was however impacted to the value of 0.429 M€ by provisions related to the departure of the manager of the German subsidiary. Excluding CCA Interview, the operating margin for European activities was more than 3%.
Continuation of the development strategy in France and Internationally
These results place CCA International in a profitable development trend that is based on solid fundamentals, which are: a high performance management model controlled by homogenous teams, renewed contractual commitments with Major Accounts and a healthy financial structure.
In parallel with the current development of the business in France, and the favourable direction of the Spanish and English businesses, the effective resumption of control of the German subsidiary makes the directors confident for the 2007 financial year.
Under the leadership of Jean Pierre Cismaresco, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, the management team expects to continue to demonstrate the validity of its economic model, and its ability to sustain the positions acquired. In addition, it reiterates its determination to pursue a policy of targeted external growth.
