FONTAINEBLEAU, France--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 8, 2004--The programme will provide journalists with better business understanding INSEAD and Wharton, two of the world's leading business schools, are organising a seminar for business journalists which will take place at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, from 9 - 13 January 2005.
Taught jointly by INSEAD and Wharton faculty, the programme is geared toward journalists who wish to improve and update their knowledge of the key issues relating to financial markets, accounting principles, corporate strategy and economic trends in society.
It is designed to help journalists stay on top of the changes that are shaping the business scene today. Bruce Kogut, Professor of Strategy and Management at INSEAD and author of several books on the global economy, will direct the programme.
He said: "Journalists are under more pressure than ever to root out the real facts about companies and industries, and therefore must possess a firm knowledge of the fundamentals of business and management.
We have designed this programme to meet the needs of this very particular group of professionals." Tuition costs for the four-day programme are set at 950 euro.
