provider of audio and data conferencing services, today announced that
Apax Partners, one of the world's leading private equity firms, has
invested 4 million euros in Arkadin SA, a Paris-based company with
operating centers in Europe and the United States. The company has
raised a total amount of 6.6 million euros in its second round of
funding, of which 2.6 million euros is from individual investors.
Founded in 2001, Arkadin originated in France and quickly expanded
into the United Kingdom, Spain, Belgium and Germany. The rapid growth
and success of these European subsidiaries is attributable to
Arkadin's teleconferencing platform, lean cost structure, the ability
to deliver customer specific requirements, and its experienced
management team.
