IDWAY : Conclusion d'un accord de licence entre IDway et HUMAX

PARIS -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- May 10, 2005 -- IDway, fournisseur de premier plan de solutions logicielles pour la télévision numérique, a annoncé ce jour la concession en licence de son logiciel MHP (plate-forme multimédia domestique) à Humax, l'un des principaux fabricants de décodeurs numériques au monde. Aux termes de l'accord conclu, Humax aura la possibilité d'utiliser l'intergiciel MHP d'IDway, qui est à ce jour conforme aux critères de la spécification MHP 1.0.2. Cet accord a pour principal objectif le déploiement rapide de boîtiers décodeurs interactifs visant notamment des marchés de la télévision numérique terrestre (TNT) tels que l'Italie.

PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2005--IDway, a leading provider of software solutions for Digital TV, announced today that it has licensed its MHP software to Humax, an international leader of digital set-top box manufacturing. Under the agreement Humax will be able to implement the IDway MHP middleware, which is conforming today to the MHP 1.0.2 specification. The goal is to rapidly deploy interactive set-top boxes addressing especially the Digital Terrestrial markets such as Italy. This deal is a sign of the fast adoption of the MHP interactive TV standard and its IDway's implementation. MHP is massively deployed in countries such as Italy, Finland, Germany and Korea, and is planned in markets such as Danemark or Spain.
