TRONICS REACHES A NEW MILESTONE WITH THE MAJOR ADOPTION OF ITS GYPRO(R) STANDARD PRODUCT LINE (AcT)

Tronics' high performance MEMS inertial sensor product line is widely used by the most important players in the industry for a wide variety of applications.

Grenoble, France, and Dallas, TX, USA - May 12, 2015 - Tronics, a designer and manufacturer of innovative nano and microsystems, now has an installed customer base for its product line of 30+ major system manufacturers worldwide. This milestone positions Tronics' high performance MEMS inertial sensors as the industry standard for highly stable, high-performance applications.

Tronics continues its strategy of development and diversification by addressing various applications in which its standard MEMS inertial sensors are of significant value and differentiation, such as Avionics, Security, Oil & Gas and Marine. Combining all key benefits on a single chip (performance, power consumption, size and weight), Tronics has been able to double its volume shipments every year since 2012, while becoming more independent from major contractors.

Tronics will be part of the International Paris Air Show, which will be held from June 15 to June 21, 2015 at Le Bourget. The company will exhibit its complete portfolio of inertial solutions for avionics applications at its booth located in Hall 4 C 130.

Moreover, Tronics has signed a membership agreement with the Aerospace Cluster in Rhône-Alpes, which brings together aerospace companies, research laboratories and training centers located in the Rhône-Alpes region (France). Through this close collaboration, Tronics will benefit from the cluster expertise in order to strengthen its leadership in aeronautics and space applications.

"This new milestone demonstrates the ability of our GYPRO® standard product line to meet the requirements of high growth markets with high added value, and to bring together a large array of players from various sectors around the challenges of their key applications”, said Pascal Langlois, Chief Executive Officer of Tronics. “Our technology roadmap is in line with our growth strategy, and will continue to deliver state-of-the-art products and platforms to our ecosystem."
