Stelax Announces NUOVINOX ™ Rebar Ordered For Historic Bow Bridge Restoration Project In Hadley, New York and Distribution Set Up In Puerto Rico


DALLAS, TX – (MARKET WIRE) -- 8/22/05 -- / (Stelax Industries Ltd. (OTC: STAX) (Euronext Symbol:
STAX) -- Stelax International Ltd. announced today that a Purchase Order has been received for use of
NUOVINOX stainless steel clad rebar on the historic Bow Bridge Reconstruction Project in Saratoga County -
Hadley, New York.
Built in 1885 to replace an 1813 wooden covered bridge that burned, the Hadley Parabolic Bridge, better known as
the Bow Bridge is one of three iron lenticular truss bridges built in New York State by the Berlin Iron Bridge Co.
and the only one left standing. It was placed on the National Registry of Historic Sites in 1977. Now for the first
time since 1984 – when the bridge was closed because of safety concerns – the two sides of Hadley will be directly
