Stelax NUOVINOX ™ To Be Used On 2 Hawaii D.O.T. Projects & Alaska D.O.T. Delivery
DALLAS, TX – (MARKET WIRE) -- 5/4/05 -- (Stelax Industries Ltd. (OTC: “STAX”)
(Euronext Symbol: “STAX”) / Stelax International Ltd. today announced that Stelax, Inc. has
received a 2nd contract for use of NUOVINOX on the Hawaii Department of Transportation
(HIDOT) - Queen Kaahumanu Highway, Guardrail and Shoulder Improvements Project from
Kawaihae to Hapuna on the island of Hawaii. The 3rd HIDOT project selected for use of
NUOVINOX rebar is the Kamehameha Highway Kokololio Bridge project on Oahu.
The NUOVINOX rebar for the previously announced Alaska DOT – Gastineau Channel
Bridge - Navigation Clearance Gauge Project has arrived in Seattle and been delivered to
the contractor’s Alaska bound project staging area in Seattle.
Paradise Reinforcing, Inc. of Waipahu, Hawaii will be supplying and installing the
NUOVINOX rebar for the recently bid HIDOT Kamehameha project. Mr. Glenn Eugenio,

showing in NUOVINOX to address reinforced concrete corrosion problems here in Hawaii.
Further applications for NUOVINOX are being considered for projects on various islands in
